Roger Monkhouse - Headliner
Roger Monkhouse is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene. A consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience. A highly original and quirky performer, Roger’s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.
Distinguished as a comic by his eloquence and keen eye for a fine phrase, Roger’s easy observational style is spiked by the signal flares of an accomplished gag writer. A supremely confident compere and seasoned corporate host, Roger is happy to improvise freely with a crowd and is at great ease bantering with an audience, but has no shortage of first class observational material in his armoury.
“unfailingly entertaining and skilfully able to pull punchlines, seemingly, out of thin air” Chortle
Andrew Bird - Headliner
Andrew hails from Northamptonshire and moved to London to pursue a career in stand-up.
He worked in a bar where he practised making the regulars laugh before his career in live
comedy took off.
Since then, Andrew has become a top headline act up and down the UK as well as
performing around the world from Dublin to Doha. He has also supported Rhod Gilbert and
Lee Hurst on tour, and been the warm-up artist for TV shows including Nevermind The
Buzzcocks, Room 101 and Pointless. Andrew is also a writer in demand having written for
series such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week.
Andrew’s 2011 and 2012 Edinburgh were sold out and received glowing reviews across the

Wilson - Compere
Wilson burst on to the stand up comedy scene in November 2011, quickly getting to the final of the ‘max Turner prize’ in just his fourth gig. At first he comes across as a cheeky chappie, but it doesn’t take long to realise that Wilson has a lot more strings to his bow – a mixture of sharp observations, pinpoint accents and curveball one liners that suit all types of audience.
“smart, charismatic and a huge hit with audiences at up the creek. wilson is fast becoming a great name to watch out for”-david geli, up the creek comedy club
