Pierre Hollins - Headliner
His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing. His ‘songs’ are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat, never travelling down the easy route of song parodies. He covers topics from love and hate, to sex and politics with a totally original voice, delivering his material with charm and irrelevance.
‘An unsung hero of new comedy. Don’t miss this true professional at work. Bloody funny.’ TIME OUT
Stefano Paolini - Support
Since receiving the runner-up accolade in Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny Award 2001 and in BBC’s New Comedy Award 2002, Stefano has had a constant stream of TV and radio work, which he juggles with Stand up gigging.
Stefano is a popular face on the UK comedy circuit with his speciality impressions of people, musical sounds and animals always being a hit with audiences. The wicked beat box section of the act is worth the entry fee on it’s own.
“A remarkable repertoire of voices and sounds”- The Stage
“ACE…….an obvious star”- The Scotsman
Ravi Holy - Compere
Ravi Holy is the Vicar of Wye by day and a comedian by night. He won the Canterbury Festival’s comedy competition in 2016 and was voted Funniest Vicar by the four Inbetweeners after performing live on the One Show (although to be fair, there were only two other contestants!)
’ I booked Ravi because I knew he would add something different to the night. He succeeded so spectacularly that I took several minutes to reset the atmosphere of the room after he came off stage to make it easier for the next act. Excellent, hilariously funny, can’t wait to have him back!" – Al Cowie, Promoter of Laugh Comedy at the Ram Brewery, Wandsworth
