Sol Bernstein - Headliner
When a legend reaches a certain point in their career, it’s time to ease up on doing legendary things and reflect on an exemplary life. Sol Bernstein has reached that point, and he invites us to listen to his tales of the high life with the biggest names in showbiz, musings on how the world has changed, and being just an ordinary Jew with world-beating wit, unbounded talent and death-defying chutzpah.
“Simply my favourite comic – the funniest hour you’ll spend this summer”
Matt Price - Support
Comedian Matt Price may look like the bloke who has been sent over to fix your radiator, but he’s also a craftsman of funny stories and a master of friendly audience banter. He tells the sort of jokes you’ll be trying to tell your work mates the following day and is a very experienced compere. He gets real live audiences roaring with laughter night in, night out in every corner of the U.K. and all over the world.
No two shows of his are ever the same because each audience is different, and playing hundreds of large and small rooms (his travels have taken him all over the U.K. most of Eastern and Central Europe, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, South East Asia, Scandinavia) for over ten years have helped Matt develop a distinctive style.
Once he is on stage, whether in a comedy club, a room above a pub or a one man show, you know you are in safe and funny hands – although your radiator may never be fixed.
“Price is a terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller” Kate Copstick, The Scotsman
Pat Gallagher - Compere
Pat Gallagher is a Birmingham born comic who lives in the Forest of Dean, (that comedy hot bed) He is arguably the best unsigned 20 minute opener / middle 20, in comedy today. He says that for principally one reason only, he loves a good argument. Pat has gigged all over claiming to have played in more toilets than George Michael. He has also headlined in Plymouth and regional south West gigs, as well as numerous regional South West festivals, including playing as support for Wil Hodgson at the ancient order of druids, the largest gathering in Wales.
‘Pat Gallagher is a genius. Saw him MC last night, it’s great to watch him go from friendly chatting to outrageousely funny and back again without missing a beat or even acknowledging it. Class.’ Chortle Forums
