Russell Hicks - Headliner
Anyone who has seen Russell Hicks knows that it is never the same show twice. Taking a different approach to most comedians, Russell Hicks weaves improvisation with stream of conscious delivery that has moved many audience members to return for two nights in a row. Nothing in this biography can do his act justice other than to say, you just have to see him live.
“Astonishing, astonishing and astonishing. He simply took the roof of the place leaving people talking about his act all night. His entire 20 minutes was totally improvised based entirely on audience interaction. Brilliant” Cheeky Monkey Comedy Club
Matt Wellcombe - Support
Matt Welcome is a comedy veteran and a supreme talent. He was a TV regular long before stand up comedy was fashionable, appearing on ‘Live At Jongleurs’ (ITV) and ‘The Ardal O’Hanlon Show’ (BBC).
His material is impressively tight with not a word or pause out of place. His conversational style and well crafted lines create a wave of hilarity.
“Superbly crafted jokes and exquisite timing” Paul Sinha
Ross Smith - Compere
Hot newcomer Ross Smith is taking the comedy circuit (and the internet) by storm. Having only started gigging in 2015, he’s a regular at some of the capital’s biggest comedy clubs. His personable, relaxed style and contemporary material, underpinned by clever wordplay and self deprecating humour, has made him one of the country’s most exciting emerging acts.
In 2018, he made headlines around the world when he agreed to go on holiday with complete strangers, taking the place of another man called Ross Smith. His viral adventure and the aftermath is the subject of his debut Edinburgh show, I Am Ross Smith.
“Hilarious and original” Nish Kumar
